About This Dog: Barney is a loving and affectionate puppy. He is 9 months old, house trained, walks well on a lead and sleeps through the night. He knows all of his basic commands and is a clever boy that has the potential to learn more. Barney can sometimes be too much for calmer dogs. He would be happiest living with another young, playful, female dog. He shows some fear-based reactivity to new people in the form of barking. If you turn away or don’t give him any reaction, he will very quickly settle down and in no time he will take treats from you and accept bum scratches! He is quite frightened of children and young people so would only be suitable living with older teenagers who can understand what he needs or an adult only home. Barney needs someone with large breed & rescue experience.
